Close Control Air Conditioning
Close control air conditioning systems maintain the ideal room temperature and humidity conditions for your sensitive IT. Cold supply air is conveyed from the CRAC unit into the server room via the raised floor, and the heated air returns to the A/C unit. Today, due to ever increasing heat loads, this process basically takes place via a network of hot and cold aisles.
Modern close control air conditioning systems with energy-efficient hybrid technology also make use of cool outside air for air conditioning. They grow in a modular fashion, and cut your data centre's electricity consumption by up to 40 %. Known as CRAC units, Close Control Air Conditioning, Sensible Coolers or Packaged downflow units, they are available in downflow or upflow configurations and in chilled water, DX air-cooled, DX water-cooled and glycol free-cooling designs. With the arrival of blade server technology, and consequent high density heat loads, Stulz introduced the 'CyberAir' close control air conditioning unit range. The small footprint design incorporates ultra low energy EC fans with 'inverter' speed control technology offering high capacity output and precise airflow regulation.
'CyberRow' - Direct Rack Air Conditioning
CyberRow is an advanced precision A/C unit, which is tailormade for the targeted cooling of Server Rooms & racks. In the CyberRow, innovative air conduction has been enhanced by state-of-the-art technology, which enhances the performance, flexibility and efficiency. Fluctuating server rack loads, space restrictions, lack of a raised floor, existing server roomtechnology - these are some of the tricky situations in everyday practice that the CyberRow has been specially developed to deal with.
'CyberCool'- Precision Chillers
Water conveys heat 3500 times better than air and the CyberCool Chiller product line was developed for maximum reliability in data centres where water cooling is the preffered method of heat removal. All chiller formats are available including internal and external options up to 1.5 MWatts. Whatever the local temperature profile and with maximum efficiency operating 24/7, 365 days a year with free-cooling where appropriate.
